How to change WordPress post into SEO friendly url name

WordPress by default doesn't comes with SEO tools and plugins. If you are new to WordPress blogging and still not getting traffic then you need to tune-up your wordpress site/blog.The first thing that you need to check is SEO friendly URL's.

In wordpress 2.8 check Settings and look for permalink, by default your post will appear as "july09/?p=123"
to turn your post into SEO friendly URL you would need to use custom Permalinks


and add

/%postname%
